GREEN FACADE

A green facade greens a vertical surface as part of the building itself. The facade system stands free of the envelope and is decoupled from it, adding no significant structural load to the existing wall. The planting troughs arrive on site fully pre-grown and are simply hooked into the support structure on location. Irrigation, nutrient supply and sensor-based control are integrated into the structure.

A green roof brings different technical demands from a facade, yet follows the same commitment to systematic planning, integrated supply and clear responsibility. Growclad is currently extending its system approach to the roof. Extensive and intensive green roof solutions with integrated supply and ESG documentation are in development.
