Warehouse New York

In the west of Manhattan, directly next to the High Line, a 2.5 km long disused elevated railway line that has been converted into a park, the High Line Park, lies the „The Warehouse“ project. The transformation of the High Line has long since changed the environment around it.

The architect’s intention is to capture the spirit of an original warehouse and develop a creative tension between the mighty brick base and the elegant new steel-glass complex. The sophisticated construction gives the viewer the illusion of a floating steel-glass element above the original building. A total of approx. 9,000 sqm will be created, which can be used as office and retail space.
