Calwer Passage Stuttgart / GER

Calwer Passage Stuttgart

The former shopping arcade in Stuttgart’s city centre at Rotebühlplatz is now to be turned into a building complex for offices, retail, flats and cafés. Demolition has now begun. During the process, however, the listed glass passage including the marble floor is to remain unchanged.

For the new building, care is being taken to ensure that the cultural monument remains protected by wooden protective structures. Occasionally, the new building will also shine in a „green wrapping“ of plants. This greenery is to become a recognisable feature of the new Calwer Passage.
