Designed by one of the world’s leading architects SOM, 1245 Broadway promises to be a stunning little gem that unfolds in its relatively small size to create a varied, appealing piece of street sculpture. The unusual shapes, which change as the building grows taller, break the banality that many large modern buildings fall prey to. At the same time, the strong rhythmic window frames provide a classical balance that never lets the rhythm get out of control.

The 22-storey commercial office building is scheduled for completion in 2021. When completed, it will stand 97 metres tall and contain 18,580 square metres of Grade A office interior space. The structure will feature a curtain wall of architecturally finished concrete panels between floor-to-ceiling windows with triple-glazed insulated glass.
